BRITISH INTELLIGENCE FILE / P.O.W CAMPS SS JOACHIM PEIPER

We have been extremely fortunate to obtain direct from the family a large set of Military information files from a former member of British war time intelligence unit.M.I14.
A unit specialising in recording information on the German Arm forces.

As of now the family wish to with hold personal details but the service man in question was a serving officer in the Royal Signals and his uniform equipment and possibly medals we are hoping to obtain .

Superb set of truly rare documents , covering war crimes against allied `Terror Flyers `


Part 1 , covers a list of known Prisoner of War camps , including Stalags and Dulags & Oflags. where the camp number is known its given as is the location and the county the P.O.W occupants are from .

There is a truly emotive two part intelligence debrief regarding instruction that are infact instructions to engage in actual war Crimes from two separate commanders regarding the protection ( or lack of ) to shot down and capture Allied air crew ....

In this lot there are 3 different examples of Allied P..O.Ws mail if these are ` coded ` examples hence them being in this file I have no idea .

The 2nd set of documents is a6 page typed intelligence debrief of an American officer captured at LA GLEIZE December 1944 during the Ardennes offensive.
The officer in question was captured by elements of the 1st SS Panzer Division` Adolf Hiltler ` under the command of Joachim Peiper

The officer goes in to great detail about his capture and several interrogations that were aggressive but not brutal , military equipment was removed from him but personal items such as watch and documents were left untouched , great description is given regarding kit and equipment the SS had , moral ,and general conduct several times the officer was interviewed by Peiper who always talked calmly and decently but was still convinced in German victory ....
Food was given when available.

Great detail is given regarding the 1st SS Divisions attempt to break out back to the German lines.

Condition , generally fine with age tears creases and ` foxing `
